The blog that I read was all about scholarships that are given out and how they think its "unfair" to their school because they can't afford to give out as many as a Division-1 school.
The UConn's basketball team has a 90 win streak, but once they were asked to play a division-1 men's school with a 19 loss streak they thought they would have a nice easy win.
Something that really stood out to me was, "I respect women's basketball, but the differences in the men's college basketball game and the women's college basketball game would be too much for them to overcome to beat a Division-I men's college basketball team. In a one game playoff, I think the men win."
I found this interesting because of all the comments on there, such as "I wonder if Gene Wojciechowski ever bothered to put the question to Geno Auriemma himself. Because I imagine he'd have told Woj that his women wouldn't stand a chance."
Something else that I found very interesting was that the Division-1 team was a men's basketball team! I was surprised that they would allow the guys to play the girls on a college level.
